SE will, in all probability, announce the G502 today. As confirmed by the keypad layout seen earlier, the G502 is a mid-end handset based on the A2 platform.
It will feature a 262K TFT display with 240x320 resolution. It will be equipped with a 2MP camera and built-in memory will be up to 32MB and will support Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards. G502 will also support Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and USB 2.0 for cable connectivity.
With Tri-Band GSM/EDGE connectivity, Sony Ericsson G502 is 3G-enabled and will be provide HSDPA for fast data transfer speeds and will come with pre-installed NetFront web browser and GoogleMaps. The handset will also support emails, RSS feeds and Exchange Activesync.
Dimensions: 109x46x13.5 mm
Weight : 83.5 grams
colors : Brilliant Hazel & Champagne Black
The very fact that the G502 isn't a smartphone like the G900/G700 confirms the fact that the G-series has replaced the K-series. With the Cybershot and Walkman series reserved for camera and music, the G series will be more of a general phones lineup, with a non specific set of features.
Sad news for all K series fans like me :(
