Released back in October 2007 exclusively for the Japanese market, Sony Ericsson W53S is now available with 100 different faces or Panels, created either by Sony Ericsson, Disney or by famous designers from Tokyo and the world. So it pretty much gets the title of the "most customizable" mobile handset created until now :)
By default, the W53S comes with only one face [well, normally phones do come with one only ;)] but users can buy any of the other 99 faces (or panels, as many like to call them) and change the appearance of the handset everyday. So it'll be quite helpful for the moody! :)
The handset features a 2.7 inch TFT internal display with 240 x 432 pixels and 260 colors, a 1 inch OLED external screen, built-in GPS with maps, a 2 Megapixel camera with auto focus, flash and video recording, a "Jog Dial" navigation pad, Web and email capabilities, Media player, access to music and video online stores, two 3D stereo speakers, mobile wallet, 100MB of built-in memory and microSD card support. Coming in a clamshell form factor, the W53S weighs 117 grams and, when closed, it measures 107 x 49 x 20 millimeters.
Another good example of a state of the art handset, exclusively for the Japanese market. Does make us wonder when we'll be able to lay our hands on such beauties :)
