XPERIA X10 to run Android 2.1 at launch?

According to Android-France, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 will be delayed by 3 weeks. I know that's bad news for some, but hey, the good news is that Sony Ericsson will now launch the device with Android 2.1 onboard instead of version 1.6 as initially planned.

As far as I'm concerned this is a step in the right direction. Android 2.1 will really help keep this device a step ahead of its contemporaries. Originally scheduled for the third week of February ( it was earlier 10th February), it will be available sometime around the 15th of March.
