The long wait is now over! Sony Ericsson´s first Android-based handset, the Xperia X10, is finally on sale in several countries.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is one of the most powerful Android handsets on the market today and still the only one with 8-megapixel camera and 4-inch screen (Android-based devices with similar specifications are expected to hit the shelves this summer). The X10 integrates 1GHz Snapdragon processor and runs edition 1.6 of the operating system.Sony Ericsson have put a lot of effort into fully customizing the Android OS and adding the innovative Timescape and Mediascape UIs.

The price will be the only deterrent for many as the XPERIA X10 will cost you at no less than 770 US dollars. Your call! :)
