Rumour: XPERIA X11 & X12

Well...after X10, what next? This question had been lingering in a lot of peoples' minds. Looks like SE has an ace up its sleeve.

Note: The below mentioned information is to be considered simply a rumour since there isn't any official announcement or intimation from Sony Ericsson's side.

So here goes:

XPERIA X11

Xperia X11 is a slider running Windows Phone 7 and is the successor of the Xperia X2. It will be Sony Ericsson's first Windows Phone 7 device. The rumored specs include:

- Slide-out QWERTY keyboard
- Qualcomm 1.2 Ghz processor
- Few Customizations ( most probably under UXP UI )

Announcement in November.

XPERIA X12

Codenamed 'CLIARO', it is the successor to the XPERIA X10. Rumored specs include:

- 4 Inch AMOLED Screen
- Similar design to Xperia X10 – just 10mm thick
- TI OMAP 4 Processor – 1.5Ghz
- ISP Panel Display with resolution of 1080×720
- Android 2.2, Froyo at launch or Gingerbread if Google Announces earlier ( first device with next Android Version – Honeycomb )
- 12Mp Camera with flash
- Gyroscope
- UXP – Timescape and Mediascape : Much more heavily customised as compared to the X10.

Announcement in November. Launch on 14th Jan 2011.

The above leak falls in the line with NTT docomo’s Winter Lineup. And although the specs might seem to be too high at present, this would be on par with other smartphones by next year.

The much awaited PSP phone has been delayed...so all the focus will now be on the above two devices, primarilythe X12 ( the first 12mp camera phone running Android).

The images above are indicative and depict the Xperia X10.
