Android 2.2 Coming to XPERIA X10 in Q2 2011

Sony Ericsson is secretively working on a Froyo update for their XPERIA X10. Unfortunately, this update won't come before Q2 2011.

This new bit of info comes from a Sony Ericsson Turkish support representative. Their statement was the following (message in Turkish):

However, this should not be mistaken for an official announcement from the company. Nothing was announced on the upcoming availability of Android 2.2 for Xperia X10 is what Sony Ericsson would say on the matter.

Let's hope it is also available for the minis and the X8. Watch this space for more!
