Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of their latest mobile phone product in the Walkman branded service. The company is now offering the W890 model in the Indian market.
The W890 Walkman phone is truly a small slim phone that delivers a full Walkman experience with a unique proposition of mega music in mini size. With the W890, SE aims to address the needs of young music connoisseurs who demand the latest Walkman features and fast downloads.
The W890 is the successor of the W880 launched around the same time last year.Unlike the W880i the W890 has smooth rounded corners, and comes in a range of colours such as espresso black, mocha brown, and sparkling silver. Dimensions of the W890 are 104 x 46.5 x 9.9mm, and weighs just 78g.
Sony Ericsson said that the mobile device comes featured with Mega Bass and Stereo Widening speakers. It comes loaded with 2GB music storage capacity which is capable of storing as many as 1,800 songs.
Sony has also bundled the device with a 3.2-mega pixel camera though without any LED flash or autofocus capability.
They have also entered into a partnership with retailing company RPG Cellucom to sell this phone in the Indian market.
Mizzle from USEB recently reviewed the handset and was pretty impressed...
Sony Ericsson W890 is the multi-talented successor of the revolutionary W880 that was announced in a little over a year ago. W890 follows up by increasing the depth of the phone with a meaningless 0.5 millimetres while adding a whole lot of features and a design that is to die for.
