Sony Ericsson released a new panel for the X1 today - a Facebook panel! And its incredible!
The user interface is spectacular, easy to use and very fast, and the overall functionality of the panel is impressive. You can pretty much do anything you can normally do on a computer with this panel! This includes viewing profiles, sending and receiving messages, reading and writing on walls, checking out photo galleries, and even uploading your own photos.
You can change your status text and view other people’s status updates, as well as check your notifications.
The panel also includes a phonebook that actually lets you call your friends if they’ve added their phone number to the phonebook. That’s a really nice feature that can come in handy to a lot!
I must admit, Sony Ericsson does seem to have a winner in the X1 as the panel interface makes the device so much more customizable and user friendly. It also does well to cover the flaws of windows mobile, which isn't really the most friendly OS out there.
