The Unwired website has an extensive hands-on video of a pre-production unit of the XPERIA X1. They claim that though the device was still based on the pre-production hardware, the ROM build was way newer, from early september, so it should be a pretty good indication of how the final firmware will be. The 16 minutes long video, among other things, shows that switching from portrait to landscape mode takes far less time than before and also the panels start much faster than before!

This is what I had been waiting for :) the X1 webcast video wasn't as good...this new video reassures me that the xperia x1 certainly is worth waiting for :D
