Sony Ericsson has just announced the world's first 16.2 megapixel phone. but there's a hitch, it's for the Japanese market only.

The S006 Cyber-shot phone is based on the Exmor R sensor by Sony. Bu you'll have to contend with a LED flash as there's no Xenon flash.
Other specs include a 3.3-inch high resolution (480 x 854 pixels) display with support for 16.7 million colours. It can run BREW applications. It supports Bluetooth and WiFi, as well as FM radio.
