Sony Ericsson's A8i smartphone for China Mobile passed through the FCC today. The device, which sports a similar button layout and form factor as the Sony Ericsson X10, eschews Android for China Mobile’s Open Mobile System 2.0 (OMS 2.0), along with a shiny chrome back. The device, which runs on the TD-SCDMA network, features a 3.5” touch screen and CMMB mobile TV functionality.
