This is it folks! The news that all UIQ fans hoped they wouldn't hear. Any last hopes of SE bringing out another UIQ phone have now been dashed. Sony Ericsson will be coming out with a Cybershot flagship codenamed “Kotaku”. The upcoming handset will feature a slider design, similar to C905 and a 12.1 megapixel camera.

Also, the phone will boast of a touch screen interface with a design similar to Nokia's Tube. It will be based on S60 with Symbian OS 9.4 version. other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, mini-USB socket for better connectivity, bluetooth with A2DP, and a microSD slot.

I guess this is as official as it gets. Looks like its time to say goodbye!
