Naite launched in India

As part of the commitment to the GreenHeart project, Sony Ericsson has unveiled an affordable 3G phone, named as Naite. The candy bar phone has been designed for basic e-mail, text messaging and video calls.

Naite is a 3G phone that weighs 84g with 108 x 47 x 12.6 mm dimensions. Naite displays 2.2 inches TFT screen with 256k colors and projects a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels with wall papers and screen savers.
Sony Ericsson Naite sounds with polyphonic ringtones,AAC ringtones, composer, MP3 ring tones and speaker phone.

The device internal memory boasts 100 MB along with 8 GB and 2 GB microSD card slots.
Sony Ericsson Naite offers a data connectivity through GPRS, EDGE,3G,bluetooth with A2DP and USB. The device snapshots with 2 MP camera at a resolution of 1600×1200 pixels along with secondary camera and QVGA video @ 15fps.

Sony Ericsson Naite features MMS, Email, Push Email, RSS,SMS, Stereo FM with RDS, MP3, MP4, and E-manual. The gadget is energized by Li-Po 950 mAh (BST-33) that is expected to peovide a talk time of 4h 30 min and a stand-by time of 583h.

It should be available for Rs 6550 or around $150.
